There are many things in life that will never move unless you set them in motion. Just like Newton's third law of motion, a body remains in the state of rest until it's acted upon by a force. You can't become great in life if you're waiting for the right environment; gold shines better when it is refined in fire and a good seed in a dirty soil brings out a wonderful fruit.
What are you doing with your life today? Many people are waiting for the government to make the economy favorable before they act. Many of us in Africa don't have good leaders, you need to make things happen for yourself otherwise you'll wait forever till old age and discover that you have wasted many years waiting in hopelessness.
Not everyone has the privilege of being born with a silver spoon. Great men are not made because they were born great, they did something great with their life. If you're not born with a silver spoon, rebirth yourself with the kind of spoon you want your children to be born with.
Many sit on the chair of wish, thinking that their wishes will come to pass. If wishes were horses, beggars would be the richest in life. Don't wish the good life, work out the kind of life you want. You won't discover how good life can be until you think outside the box and dare the impossible.
Some religious people wait on faith while thinking that God will come from heaven or send angel Michael to evident their faith. Faith without work they say is dead. And work without faith is frustration. Faith in God doesn't put your life on hold. No, it's simply trusting in God over a thing while you're doing your own part to please Him.
Do you think everything in life will fall in their place while you do nothing? No, it won't! Do something! Be among those who make good things happen, not those who watch things happening or blackmail those who are making good things happen.
If no one has ever become great in your family and your are a child of God, do something. As a man thinks in his heart, so he is. Pray yourself out of evil curses and family trend. Jabez was born honorably but his mother called him a son of sorrow. He refused to become what his mother called him and he prayed his way into greatness.
Are you in between two choices of serving God or you want to enjoy the world? You better do something about your life and eternity. If you think life ends here on earth, I'm sorry to call you an ignoramus. Who you serve here and the cause you lived for will determine your eternal placement. Be like Joshua who choose to serve God when others turned their back against Him. The three Hebrew boys choose not to bow to the god of Nebuchadnezzar even when the commandment resonates loudly and the fiery furnace was doubled; they stood their ground to serve God.
Have you had a terrible past? Leave the past and do something with your future. You can never change anything about your past but you can do something now that would make you forget your past quickly. You are not your past. We all make mistakes in life. Let go of your past and let God. If it's someone that hurt you in the past, forgive and let go otherwise you won't heal and you'd be trapped in the bondage of anger, hatred and resentment.
Do something good with your life rather than mess it up on gambling, betting or on immoral relationship. Do something good with your youthful life. You only have the opportunity to be young once in your lifetime. If you do nothing good about your youthful life today, you'll definitely spend the rest of your old age in regret.
Are you lonely and you think going into a relationship is the solution? No, you're wrong. Do something with your state of singleness. Discover your purpose and be on the course for its fulfillment. If you don't find a cure to your state of singleness while single, marriage will not cure it.
Give God your strength and not drugs, alcohol or women. Only God has the your best interest - to conserve it and give you an expected end. Serve Him diligently and He will never fail to reward your labors of love.
